Dr. Shelli Jackson, PhD

Dr. Shelli Jackson is a licensed psychologist with experience working in a crisis house and two inpatient hospital settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, geriatric, military, and adult populations on a wide array of topics, most involving some level of depression, anxiety, and feeling unwanted or unlovable. She also has experience working with patients experiencing impulsivity, mood disorders, personality disorders, as well as bipolar disorders and the stigma these populations often experience.

With a strong foundation in traditional evidence-based therapies, her current interests involve the effects of health, nutrition, sleep, exercise, and other lifestyle factors have on mental health. She can assist you in evaluating your relationship with lifestyle habits, food, body image, and concepts of depression, anxiety, mood, self-love and self-care.

“Dr. Jackson can help you work through emotional, behavioral, and cognitive issues that may be holding you back or causing you to feel that you are not lovable, likable, or good enough. She approaches individual and group therapy with compassion and empathy, co-creating treatment goals and plans with you, so that your needs are met in a respectful and effective manner.”
